Super Mario Galaxy 2 is now available under “Intend to Purchase” on Club Nintendo (US). Be sure to register your intent now for extra coins! Keep in mind that the Club Nintendo Year ends on June 30th, so you have until then to reach gold or platinum status if you haven’t already.

A new gameplay video of Super Mario Galaxy 2 was revealed by Nintendo World Report/IGN/Nintendo has revealed quite a bit.
1. A new rock suit
2. Some new galaxy footage
3. A golden yoshi to speed across areas that it lights up
4. A sample of the new orchestrations
5. A form of a hub world

Not long after the announcements of the DSi XL, Nintendo has announced a new breed of the popular handheld, the 3DS (tentative title).
The new handheld will still feature touch control, however it’s screens will now be 3D without the need…

Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed that Super Mario Galaxy 2 will feature a traditional world map instead of a 3D hub world. The concept of the hub world was first introduced in Super Mario 64, with Peach’s Castle serving as the hub. In Super Mario Galaxy, Rosalina’s Station was the hub world to many of its levels.
