We have finally finished the upgrades! The passwords are currently being sent out on the old forums (http://nintendoaddict.proboards.com) and they should be done shortly.
So take a look to grab your password (if you are a previous member), or register if you’re new! Enjoy!

So the process of the finishing touches of the upgrade continues. Here is my current checklist:
√ Update board titles and such
√ Move obsolete items to archives
√ Match stickies to those of the old forum
√ Promote staff (more on that later)
√ Set up emotes and finish configuring various settings
√ Set message icons
√ Transfer YouTube embedded videos
_ Set up the shop
_ Transfer the affiliates
_ Transfer random avatars
_ Set any board description/notice boxes
_ Re-enable registration and send out new passwords
So things are progressing, and this hopefully shouldn’t take much longer!

Okay, so things are going well. Right now I’m in the process of updating things to match the new forum format, and hopefully this will be done soon.
I’m not sure if it will be done tonight because there is a ton of content for me to go through and match up, however I expect this to be done in the next few days (hopefully on or by Saturday).
Current status for the night: Stopped (9 PM). Will try to resume tomorrow, however I may not have time.

So I hit another roadblock! It’s pretty complicated and lengthy to explain so, I’ll get straight to what it means. Pretty much I have to start over with uploading everything… except I have to take the longer than the long way I was going originally. Hopefully this gets everything finished, and hopefully I can get it all done tomorrow since I won’t have much time after that.
Posting and registrations will remain closed because I don’t want to have to re-rip the data from the forum, so I’ll try to get this all done as fast as I can. I’ll update with e-mail once everything is done. Until then, updates will be posted here.

So we’ve hit a bit of a roadblock when it comes to putting the old info into the new forum. It turns out that the converter I have is designed for SMF 1.1.x while I am running SMF 2.0. We’ll see what comes from this…
